About RADIN
Integral planning for future-proof structures
History
RADIN was founded in 1999 in Lippstadt as an engineering office for structural design. Since its founding, the office has followed a planning philosophy that goes far beyond providing isolated structural calculations. At its core is the ambition to develop structures as part of a larger technical and economic system — with the goal of coherently assessing and reliably evaluating load-bearing capacity, structural efficiency, resource use, economy and lifecycle costs from the very beginning.
With the growing influence of energy, building physics and ecological requirements, this understanding has been consistently developed further. Today, RADIN combines the disciplines of structural engineering, building physics, energy and sustainability in an integral planning approach. This produces interdisciplinary solutions that balance technical precision, ecological responsibility and long-term quality of use. This close professional integration forms the basis for planning that not only meets requirements, but makes complex interrelationships visible and manageable at an early stage.
With 30 employees at three locations, RADIN handles projects of all scales and typologies — from bridge construction to DGNB-certified logistics buildings. The particular strength of the office lies in the methodical integration of its disciplines: Where elsewhere individual assessments stand side by side, RADIN develops consistent, scientifically founded and practice-oriented decision-making foundations for demanding planning and construction tasks.
